Vasyl H. Pysarenko

Born on February 8, 1977, in the village of Koby, Novosanzharsky District, Poltava Oblast. Graduated from the general education school in the village of Stovbina Dolyna, Novosanzharsky District. Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Worked as a carpenter at a local agricultural enterprise, hired in his native village, and went to earn money in the Russian Federation. On March 9, 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as the chief sergeant of the company of the 28th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666 (field post V0095), the urban-type settlement of Chornomorske, Kominternivskyi District (since 2016 - Lymanskyi District), Odesa Oblast). Since the spring of 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 3, 2015, Junior Sergeant Pysarenko was killed in battle while repelling an attack by Russian armed formations on the city of Marinka, Donetsk Oblast. Along with him, Senior Soldier Oleksandr Halushchynskyi and Senior Sergeant Vasyl Pykhtiev were killed. On June 6, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Koby, Novosanzharsky District, Poltava Oblast.
