- Born on January 27, 1982, in the village of Karbushevka (now the village of Koktas) in the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan. From the 1980s to the early 1990s, he lived in the city of Karaganda (Kazakhstan). In the early 1990s, he moved with his family to Ukraine for permanent residence. Initially, he lived in the Zaporizhia region, then in the village of Laski in the Narodytsia district of the Zhytomyr region. He graduated from the general education school in the village of Laski. He served in the ranks of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (now the National Guard of Ukraine). After the army, he lived in Kyiv. He was professionally engaged in repairs of various complexities. He studied at the university by correspondence. At the end of January 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a gunner in the 3rd Airborne Assault Company of the 1st Airborne Assault Battalion of the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0281, city of Zhytomyr). Since the spring of 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On May 5, 2015, soldier Myalkin was killed near the city of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region during the movement of personnel to replace the observation post of the battalion tactical group when the armored personnel carrier he was in was blown up by a mine planted by terrorists. Along with him, soldier Mykola Martyniuk, sergeant Vasyl Mykhaniuk, and soldier Oleksandr Shchurov were killed. On May 9, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Laski in the Narodytsia district of the Zhytomyr region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
