- Born on February 2, 1992, in the city of Chernivtsi. After some time, the family moved to the village of Babine in the Vyzhnytsia district of Chernivtsi region. In 2007, he graduated from 9 grades of the general education school (now an educational complex) in the village of Babine, Vyzhnytsia district, and in 2009 from the general education school in the village of Karapchiv, Vyzhnytsia district, then from the Chernivtsi Higher Vocational School of Radio Electronics (Chernivtsi city). In 2011-2012, he served his mandatory military service in the 80th Separate Airborne Order of the Red Banner Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0284, Lviv city). After the army, he worked in various jobs in the city of Chernivtsi. On April 8, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 87th Separate Airborne Battalion of the 80th Separate Airborne Order of the Red Banner Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2582, Chernivtsi city). From May 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 17, 2014, from the city of Shchastia in the Luhansk region, a group of fighters from the 2nd company of the 87th Separate Airborne Battalion, which included Junior Sergeant Krysovatyi, left on three BTR-80 armored personnel carriers to assist the fighters of the volunteer battalion "Aidar," who were engaged in combat with Russian-terrorist groups. In the area of the village of Metalist in the Slovianoserbsk district of Luhansk region, the group of paratroopers was ambushed. As a result of the battle, 9 servicemen were killed, including Junior Sergeant Krysovatyi. On June 22, 2014, he was buried at the Alley of Glory in the Central Cemetery of Chernivtsi city. On December 22, 2014, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of the general education school building (Centralna Street, 28) in the village of Karapchiv, Vyzhnytsia district, where Ihor Krysovatyi studied.
