- Born on July 20, 1991, in the city of Chernivtsi. In 2008, he graduated from secondary school No. 24 in Chernivtsi, then from the Chernivtsi Industrial College. He studied part-time at the National University of "Lviv Polytechnic." From February 2011 to February 2014, he served under contract in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. In 2011, he was a cadet at the Training Center for Junior Specialists of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (now named after Major General Ihor Momot - military unit 9930, the village of Orshanytsia, Sosnivka district, Chernivtsi). He then served in the border service department "Mamaliga" of the Chernivtsi border detachment of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (military unit 2195, Chernivtsi). In April 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 87th Separate Air Assault Battalion of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Order of the Red Banner of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2582, Chernivtsi). From May 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 17, 2014, from the city of Shchastia in the Luhansk region, a group of fighters from the 2nd Air Assault Company of the 87th Separate Air Assault Battalion, which included Sergeant Mihovan, departed on three BTR-80 armored personnel carriers to assist the fighters of the volunteer battalion "Aidar," who were engaged in combat with Russian-terrorist groups. In the area of the village of Metalist in the Slovianoserbsk district of Luhansk region, the group of paratroopers was ambushed. As a result of the battle, 9 servicemen were killed, including Sergeant Mihovan. On June 22, 2014, he was buried at the Alley of Glory in the Central Cemetery of Chernivtsi. On December 14, 2016, a memorial plaque was unveiled in the city of Chernivtsi on the facade of secondary school No. 24 (5 Fizkulturna Street), where Viktor Mihovan studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
