Vadym P. Slobodianyk

Born on August 20, 1978, in the city of Myronivka, Kyiv region. Graduated from general education school No. 3 in Myronivka. In 1995, he worked as a loader for the Myronivka Consumer Society, from 1995-1996 and in 1998 - as a courier for the Myronivka Society "Olympus", from 1996-1998 - as a seller for the private enterprise "Nadiya". From 1999-2001, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After demobilization, he worked as a loader at the Open Joint Stock Company "SOMMAS". On March 20, 2014, he was mobilized by the Myronivka-Bohuslav Combined District Military Commissariat of Kyiv region into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a senior operator of the 2nd reconnaissance platoon of the reconnaissance company of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 28, 2014, Senior Soldier Slobodyanyk was killed during search-strike operations in the area of the village of Stepanyvka, Shakhtarsky district, Donetsk region. He is buried in the city cemetery of Myronivka, Kyiv region.
