- Born on January 27, 1985, in the village of Khomintsi, Romensky District, Sumy Region. Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In March 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 9th rocket battery of the 3rd rocket artillery division of the 27th rocket artillery regiment of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1476, city of Sumy). Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On September 3, 2014, near the village of Pobeda in the Novoaidar District of Luhansk Region, the base camp of the 27th rocket artillery regiment was shelled from the territory of the Russian Federation by the "Smerch" multiple launch rocket system. As a result of the shelling, 15 servicemen were killed. During a lull between shellings, Volodymyr Dudka rushed to help his comrades who were in the destroyed dugout. However, he came under new shelling, resulting in injuries and burns of varying degrees of severity. On September 10, 2014, due to the injuries and burns he sustained, Volodymyr Dudka died at the Burn Center of the Kharkiv City Clinical Hospital for Emergency and Urgent Care named after Professor O.I. Meshchaninov in Kharkiv. On September 12, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Khomintsi, Romensky District.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
