Anatolii M. Budnikov

Born on December 15, 1960, in the village of Velyka Mechetna, Kryvoozersky District, Mykolaiv Oblast. In 1977, he graduated from the secondary school in Velyka Mechetna, then attended a maritime college. He served his mandatory military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR. After the army, he worked in the police, then in construction. He lived in the Pechersky District of Kyiv. In August 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the fall of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine. He was a participant in the battles for the city of Debaltseve in Donetsk Oblast. On February 22, 2015, he was buried at the Berkovets Cemetery in Kyiv.
