- Born on October 8, 1978, in the city of Olevsk, Zhytomyr region. Graduated from the secondary school in the city of Olevsk. Served mandatory military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a grenade launcher in the 3rd platoon of the 2nd company of the 30th separate guards mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409 (field post V2731), city of Novograd-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr region). Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Participant in the battles for the city of Debaltseve in Donetsk region. On February 18, 2015, Senior Sergeant Haichenya was killed during the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the city of Debaltseve in the area of the village of Lohvynove in the Artemivsk (now Bakhmut) district of Donetsk region. Since then, he was considered missing in action. He was buried as an unknown soldier at the Krasnopil cemetery in the city of Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro). Identified through DNA testing. On January 30, 2016, he was reburied at the cemetery in the city of Olevsk, Zhytomyr region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
