Ivan H. Pasevych (Batia)

Graduated from the Faculty of High-Mobility Airborne Forces of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachny National Army Academy in Lviv. On March 8, 2014, he went to the East as part of the 80th Airborne Brigade, where he served as an officer. He was replaced during rotations but could not leave his soldiers in the surrounded airport of Luhansk without assistance and went back to the ATO zone, promising to return with his subordinates. He was a candidate for the title of Master of Sports in hand-to-hand combat, earned a master's degree in "Management of Financial and Economic Security," and dreamed of building another church and sports complex for his hometown. He returned home on August 19, 2014, as he promised, with his soldiers… A hero… In eternal memory…
