Andrii H. Kulinich

Andriy graduated from the 9th grade of Novograd-Volynskyi General Education School I-III degrees No. 7 and Novograd-Volynskyi Vocational Lyceum (since 2014 — Novograd-Volynskyi Higher Vocational Technical School) with a specialty in "Construction Carpenter, Wood and Birch Bark Carver." He worked for some time as a carver at the "Mirt" furniture factory. In 2011-2012, he served in the military, then worked as a carpenter in the timber industry complex of the state enterprise "Novograd-Volynskyi Research Forestry and Hunting Economy" of the Zhytomyr Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting (his father also worked as a master at the same enterprise). He was seriously interested in airsoft, participating in many competitions in Zhytomyr and Kyiv. On March 11, 2014, he was called up for military service by mobilization and took the position of machine gunner in the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A-0409). Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine, going through many battles (including a breakout from encirclement near Savur-Mohyla), demonstrating courage and professionalism.
