- Born on August 27, 1976, in the village of Komarivtsi, Bar district, Vinnytsia region. In 1991, he graduated from the 8th grade of the secondary school in the village of Komarivtsi. He served his mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He worked as a laborer at the Limited Liability Company "Chernechyna" in the village of Komarivtsi. On August 21, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Bar-Murovanokurylivetsky combined district military commissariat of Vinnytsia region. He served as a rifleman-sanitary in the 30th separate guards mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0409 (field post V2731), city of Novograd-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr region). Since January 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He was a participant in the battles for the city of Debaltseve in Donetsk region. On February 18, 2015, soldier Shchepansky, as part of a column of Ukrainian troops, was leaving the city of Debaltseve in Donetsk region. During the withdrawal, the column came under artillery fire from the enemy. As a result of the shelling, soldier Shchepansky was killed. Since then, he was considered missing in action. He was identified by his civil partner by the scars and moles among the deceased in the morgue of the city of Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro). On February 27, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Komarivtsi, Bar district, Vinnytsia region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
