- Born on April 10, 1993, in the village of Semirivka, Yavoriv District, Lviv Region. In 2008, he graduated from the 9th grade of the general education school in Semirivka, in 2010 - from the general education school in the village of Chernilyava, Yavoriv District, and in 2012 - from the Lviv Cooperative College of Economics and Law. From November 2012 to November 2013, he served in the compulsory military service in the deep reconnaissance company of the 54th separate guards reconnaissance battalion of the Prut-Pomeranian orders of Kutuzov, Bohdan Khmelnytsky, and Alexander Nevsky of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2076, Novograd-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr Region). From January 2014, he served under contract in the 24th separate mechanized Samara-Ulyanovsk Berdychiv Iron Order of the October Revolution, three-time Order of the Red Banner, Orders of Suvorov and Bohdan Khmelnytsky brigade named after Prince Daniel of Galicia of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0998, Yavoriv, Lviv Region). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 19, 2014, in the area of the urban-type settlement of Yampil and the village of Zakitne in the Krasnolymansky (since 2016 - Lyman) district of Donetsk Region, during the execution of a combat mission, which required advancing deep into territories temporarily controlled by militants, destroying fortifications, and liberating settlements, the servicemen of the 24th separate mechanized brigade engaged in battle with Russian-terrorist groups. As a result of the battle, about 30 servicemen were injured of varying degrees of severity, and 7 servicemen were killed, including Senior Soldier Prykhid. On June 23, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Semirivka, Yavoriv District. On February 20, 2015, during a session of the Yavoriv District Council, a decision was made to name the Semirivka general education school after Yuriy Prykhid. On September 6, 2015, in the village of Semirivka, Yavoriv District, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of the general education school building (110 Ioanna Bohoslova Street), where Yuriy Prykhid studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
