- Born on September 20, 1970, in the city of Stebnik, Drohobych City Council, Lviv Oblast. In 1986, he graduated from general education school No. 6 in the city of Stebnik. In the spring of 2014, he was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Samara-Ulyanovsk Berdychiv Iron Order of the October Revolution, three-time Order of the Red Banner, Orders of Suvorov and Bohdan Khmelnytsky Brigade named after Prince Daniel of Galicia of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0998, city of Yavoriv, Lviv Oblast). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 11, 2014, in the area of the village of Zelenopillya, Sverdlovsk (since 2016 - Dovzhansky) district of Luhansk Oblast, around 4:30 in the morning, Russian-terrorist groups shelled the base camp of Ukrainian troops with BM-21 "Grad" multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the shelling, 7 servicemen of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and 30 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed, including Maryan Dyshel. On July 19, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the city of Stebnik, Lviv Oblast. On February 6, 2015, in the city of Stebnik, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of general education school No. 6 (10 Mykhailo Hrushevskyi Street), where Maryan Dyshel studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
