- Born on November 23, 1990, in the village of Sabanivka, Radekhiv district, Lviv region. In 2008, he graduated from general education school No. 2 in the city of Radekhiv, and in 2010 - from Lutsk Higher Vocational School of Construction and Architecture with the profession of "Locksmith-Plumber." He served his mandatory military service in the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He worked at the private enterprise "Business Security Center" in the city of Lviv. In the spring of 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Samaro-Ulyanivsk Berdychiv Iron Order of the October Revolution, three-time Order of the Red Banner, and Orders of Suvorov and Bohdan Khmelnytsky Brigade named after Prince Daniel of Galicia of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0998, city of Yavoriv, Lviv region). Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 11, 2014, in the area of the village of Zelenopillya, Sverdlovsk (since 2016 - Dovzhansky) district of Luhansk region, around 4:30 in the morning, Russian-terrorist groups shelled the base camp of Ukrainian troops with BM-21 "Grad" multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the shelling, 7 servicemen of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and 30 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed, including Roman Kratko, who died during evacuation by helicopter due to significant blood loss. On July 19, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Sabanivka, Radekhiv district. On July 11, 2015, a memorial plaque was unveiled in the city of Radekhiv on the facade of general education school No. 2 (Selezinkiv Street, 1), where Roman Kratko studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
