- Born on March 26, 1979, in the city of Lviv. Studied at the general education school No. 75 named after Lesya Ukrainka in Lviv. Served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for mandatory military service. In the spring of 2014, he was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Samaro-Ulyanivsk Berdychiv Iron Order of the October Revolution, three-time Order of the Red Banner, and Orders of Suvorov and Bohdan Khmelnytsky Brigade named after Prince Daniel of Galicia of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0998, city of Yavoriv, Lviv region). Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 11, 2014, in the area of the village of Zelenopillya in the Sverdlovsk district (since 2016 - Dovzhansky) of Luhansk region, around 4:30 in the morning, Russian-terrorist groups shelled the base camp of Ukrainian soldiers with BM-21 "Grad" multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the shelling, 7 servicemen of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and 30 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed, including Viktor Lushchyk. On July 18, 2014, he was buried in the field of Honorary Burials No. 76 at Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
