- Born on September 22, 1990, in the urban-type settlement of Kuibysheve (since 2016 - Bilmak) in the Zaporizhzhia region. In 2006, he graduated from the 9th grade of the specialized general education school "Intellect" in the urban-type settlement of Kuibysheve, and in 2009 - from the Kuibyshev Professional Agrarian Lyceum. In 2010-2011, he served in the mandatory military service in the 50th Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Sevastopol-Feodosia Regiment of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A4489, city of Feodosia, Autonomous Republic of Crimea). After his service, he worked for some time at the production association "Motor Sich" in the city of Zaporizhzhia. On March 25, 2014, he was mobilized by the Shevchenkivskyi District Military Commissariat of the city of Zaporizhzhia into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0224, city of Mykolaiv). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 11, 2014, in the area of the village of Zelenopillya in the Sverdlovsk (since 2016 - Dovzhanskyi) district of Luhansk region, around 4:30 AM, Russian-terrorist groups shelled the base camp of Ukrainian troops with BM-21 "Grad" multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the shelling, 7 servicemen of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and 30 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed, including Volodymyr Hnatusha. Only 4 weeks after the shelling, Volodymyr's body was identified through DNA testing. On August 7, 2014, he was buried at the Central Cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Kuibysheve.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
