- Born on February 3, 1988, in the village of Koty, Yavoriv District, Lviv Region. Graduated from a general education school. In the spring of 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Samara-Ulyanovsk Berdychiv Iron Order of the October Revolution, three-time Order of the Red Banner, and Orders of Suvorov and Bohdan Khmelnytsky Brigade named after Prince Daniel of Galicia of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0998, city of Yavoriv, Lviv Region). Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 11, 2014, in the area of the village of Zelenopillya in Sverdlovsk (since 2016 - Dovzhansky) District of Luhansk Region, around 4:30 AM, Russian-terrorist groups shelled the base camp of Ukrainian troops with BM-21 "Grad" multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the shelling, 7 servicemen of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and 30 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed, including Mykhailo Lohyn. He was buried on July 23, 2014, in the cemetery of the village of Koty, Yavoriv District.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
